Visitation
Running your own business can be a lonely endeavour. All the issues and concerns end up with you. But you need not shoulder them alone. Our aim is to help your business, small or large, to succeed and grow. We do this through our Visitation Program.
Helping You
The Visitation Program gives you an opportunity to meet with senior staff from the Economic Development Unit to discuss the issues affecting your business and hear about our programs designed to assist you in growing or strengthening your business. Meetings are held on your premises so that we can gain a solid understanding of your operations. They are informal and, of course, confidential.
Our aim is to help you resolve your business concerns. And if we can't, we will talk to other organisations that can, or refer you to the appropriate resources.
Helping Us
Visitation also assists Council to become more proactive in our approach and planning. Common concerns provide a catalyst for implementing relevant training programs and other initiatives to address the real issues affecting our local business owners.
We also gain an overview of the types of businesses within the municipality and can therefore seek specific opportunities for growth.
Plan A Visit
It need not be lonely at the top. Invest 45 minutes to discuss your concerns with people who can help. Contact John Francis, Director Economic Development and City Marketing to make an appointment on:
