Bushfire Assistance

FREE Business Mentor Program in Whittlesea Township

The Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS) is extending its small business support to all businesses directly and indirectly impacted by the Black Saturday Bushfires. Normally a mentoring session with the SBMS can cost up to $100 but with the financial assistance of the Victorian Government SBMS is providing FREE business needs assessments and individual ongoing mentoring support to business owners and local traders to assist them with planning, marketing and management and an experienced outside, impartial ear to bounce ideas around with.

Bushfire Rebuilding Trade Directory

This directory is designed to promote local trade businesses that can help local residents rebuild their homes. The database will be limited to industry types such as bricklaying, carpentry, electrical, painting etc.

Bushfire Fundraisers

Community or business groups wishing to raise funds for the bushfire appeal must register with Consumer Affairs Victoria. Visit www.consumer.vic.gov.au or phone 1300 558 181.
