Craigieburn Bypass
This new 17 kilometre bypass will link the Metropolitan Ring Road at Thomastown with the Hume Freeway at Craigieburn. Yet another option for fast access to the airport, docks and interstate roads, and a valuable north-south road link between Thomastown, Lalor, Epping, Wollert and Craigieburn.
The Craigieburn Bypass is a $306 million project; fully funded by the Federal Government and delivered by the State Government. With an expected return of more than $1 billion of economic benefits to Victoria, it is easy to see why Melbourne's North is a sound investment.
